Account Manager
Client Services

Reporting directly to the Client Services Manager, the successful applicant will be given the opportunity to work with a range of household names from Retail Travel and Leisure industries. 

You will responsible for building and maintaining positive client relationships, and working alongside the Operations Team, for managing the efficient and effective delivery of sold business.

Sitting within a wider team of 90 client services professionals, there are opportunities to develop yourself through the variety of work on offer and through learning from more experienced colleagues. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a supportive environment in which to further develop their account management experience.
 
Key responsibilities of the role are to:-
 

  • Track and manage actual costs against internal quotations and client budgets
  • Ensure delivery meets or exceeds GP forecast within client budget parameters
  • Ensure client retention through building and maintaining positive client relationships, and to manage the efficient and effective delivery of programs and sold business.
  • Ensure a good working knowledge of client business and issues facing their industry sector
  • Keep informed of issues which could affect the client relationship
  • Conduct regular program reviews both internally and externally
  • Prepare for and manage regular client meetings (face to face preferable) including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  • Identify opportunities to develop existing client business, providing added value advice and recommendations
  • Develop strategic and tactical client solutions
  • Work with Client Services Manager (and Sales and Growth) to define the scope and pricing for both existing and new client projects and assist in developing solutions and writing proposals as required
  • Maximise profit opportunities through the identification of up-selling project enhancements
  • Gather, analyse and report client data including management reports and client invoicing
  • Effectively plan project delivery in terms of deadlines, contingencies and costs, and identify delivery efficiencies where appropriate
  
Key knowledge and skills required to be successful are:-
 
  • Minimum 5 years business experience, preferably within an agency environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrable advanced skills in excel and other MS software including powerpoint and word
  • Exceptional client relationship skills, with excellent communications both verbal and written, and attention to detail
